Summer at the Farm for children 30 months to 11 years CHECK BACK 2/1/2025 FOR THE DATES THAT REGISTRATION WILL HAPPEN AND FOR UPDATED CLASSES.
Summer programs are offered for 30 month olds with their adult and for preschoolers and school age children through grade four attending on their own. Classes for grade school children offer the farm experience with an additional emphasis on topics ranging from science to history to culinary arts and woodworking.
PLEASE NOTE:
- Due to the outdoor nature of the summer program, any child with severe allergies involving Epipens can not be accommodated except in the Adult & Child Together classes.
- Preschool aged children with special needs may be eligible for assistance through grant funds. Call or email for more information.
- If your child has been to Kindergarten, they participate in school age classes.
- If your child is not 3 yet – they would participate in adult/child together classes.
- Once registered, there is a $50 fee for cancellations and we can not refund TUIO fees.
- After registration, you will receive name tags and more information the week before your class begins.
- The log in page for TUIO is app.tuiopay.com You can enter your login credentials on this page to access your account. Please be sure to do this within 2 weeks of registration if you have an account already as you will have to create a new password. If you don’t remember your password you can click “Forgot Password” on TUIO to request an email with a new password. If you have any difficulty accessing the account you can contact TUIO at support@tuiopay.com to assist.
- Classes are held outside in all types of weather (rain or shine), so please dress accordingly. Our indoor classroom and barn are used sparingly.

All school-age classes include basic farm activities as well as the special area of interest described below. Classes are held from 1-3:30 or 1:15-3:45 to stagger the start times . Children are dropped off for these classes. Age range for each class is listed under the name of the class. Children can attend more than one class in different topics but would not want to take two of the same class.

Use the tools of old time farmers and pioneers to care for animals and prepare food. Discover how Native Americans lived off the land and what was here before people arrived.

Basic learn-by-doing for 3-5 years, pre-kindergarten. Children feed animals and do all of the basic farm activities plus have different focus activities each day. Times are listed on each class but we do have staggered starts so some will be 9 – 11:30 (green) and some will be 9:15 – 11:45 (yellow). Children are dropped off for these classes. NOTE: Limit of two sessions per child.
